I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Georgia State University in 2013 & went on to earn my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University in 2016. My passion lies in helping young individuals navigate the complexities of growing up & aiding families in fostering healthy relationships & communication. Through a warm & compassionate approach, I strive to create a safe space for clients to explore their emotions, develop coping skills, & achieve personal growth. My goal is to provide support & guidance to help individuals & families thrive & overcome challenges they may face.
At Growth Tree Counseling, I understand seeing your child struggle with emotions or life challenges can be overwhelming. I understand as a young adult you often face difficult life transitions or struggle with managing your feelings. It's important to know that therapy is a positive and helpful tool that can support you/your child in navigating these difficulties. I specialize in working with children, teens, and young adults to provide a safe and nurturing space for them to express themselves. Therapy can empower you/your child with coping strategies, emotional regulation skills, and improved self-awareness. It's a proactive step that can lead to positive growth and overall well-being. If you're considering therapy for your child, or as a young adult, know that you're not alone, and I am here to support both you and/or your child every step of the way.
